As a Finance Manager at HOWL, you’ll be responsible for managing the finance function across the business, working closely with leadership and different teams, and ensuring strong financial processes, reporting and controls.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Have 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a marketing, advertising, creative or other service-based organisation.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, taxation, payroll and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in Tally and Excel/Google Sheets, with strong financial reporting and MIS skills.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, collections, reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, project costing and profitability analysis.
• Have experience managing, mentoring or reviewing the work of a finance team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams.
• Preferred: Experience in a digital marketing, advertising or creative agency.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Own and oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations at HOWL.
• Manage the finance team, ensuring accuracy, timely completion and accountability.
• Manage client billing, collections, vendor payments, expenses and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheets, cash flow reports and other financial reports.
• Track client/project-level revenue, costs and profitability and highlight key variances.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning, providing financial insights to leadership.
• Oversee GST, TDS, payroll and other statutory compliance and ensure timely filings and reconciliations.
• Work with HR and leadership on payroll, employee costs, reimbursements and other finance-related matters.
• Strengthen financial processes, controls and approval workflows as the business grows.
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultants and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
• Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams on financial planning, cost optimisation and business decisions.
