About the job

Key responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate general ledger entries, including journals, accruals and prepayments
* Process accounts payable and receivable: invoice verification, payments, collections and follow-ups
* Perform monthly bank, vendor and customer reconciliations
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing and prepare supporting schedules
* Prepare monthly MIS reports, variance analyses and cash flow statements
* Support budgeting and forecasting by collecting and consolidating departmental inputs
* Ensure timely GST, TDS and other statutory filings and compliance
* Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation
* Manage expense claims and petty cash in line with company policy
* Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and strengthen internal controls
