About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on, analytical and commercially oriented Finance professional to join our Finance team on a fixed-term contract.
The role will initially support the Finance function in areas including GST compliance, product costing, management reporting, reconciliations, audit support and other recurring finance activities.
The position is expected to work closely with the Finance Business Partnering team and business divisions. A strong performer may be considered for a longer-term role as the Finance organisation expands.
This is therefore an opportunity for a Finance professional who wants exposure beyond routine accounting and wishes to develop a broader understanding of manufacturing finance and business partnering.
Key Responsibilities
1. GST & Tax Compliance
Support monthly and periodic GST compliance activities.
Prepare and review GST reconciliations.
Coordinate with internal teams for data and documentation required for GST filings.
Support management of GST-related queries, notices and reconciliations.
Maintain appropriate records and documentation for tax compliance and audits.
Identify discrepancies and escalate potential tax risks to the Finance leadership team.
2. Product Costing - Ingredients Business
Prepare and maintain product costing and cost sheets.
Analyse raw material, packaging, conversion and other cost components.
Support standard costing / periodic costing updates.
Prepare cost variance analysis and identify key drivers.
Work with procurement, production and business teams to obtain relevant cost inputs.
Ensure costing data is accurate, timely and appropriately documented.
Support profitability analysis of products and customers.
3. MIS & Business Analysis
Prepare recurring management reports and financial schedules.
Support monthly business performance reporting.
Analyse revenue, gross margin, costs, inventory and working capital.
Prepare variance analysis against budget, forecast and previous periods.
Develop meaningful insights from financial and operational data rather than merely reporting numbers.
Support Finance Business Partners in preparation for monthly business reviews.
4. Audit & Compliance Support
Support statutory, tax and internal audit requirements.
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders for routine information requirements.
Ensure timely closure of audit observations and information requests.
5. ERP / Process Improvement
Work with the Finance team on ERP/M3-related finance processes.
Identify opportunities to improve automation, data accuracy and process efficiency.
Support standardisation of recurring Finance processes.
Help document key Finance processes and controls.
6. Business Finance Support
Work closely with Finance Business Partners and business teams.
Provide reliable financial data and analysis for decision-making.
Support business cases, pricing analysis and profitability reviews.
Develop an understanding of the operational drivers behind financial performance.

Candidate Profile
Education
• CA Inter / CMA Inter (Preferable) / https://jobeax.com/link/ZrBIZ59t5D5W9yrg / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates with relevant professional qualifications and strong practical experience will also be considered.
Experience
• Approximately min 1 years of relevant Finance / Accounts experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Practical exposure to GST and product costing is desirable.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Technical Skills
• Strong Excel skills.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting.
• Practical GST knowledge.
• Understanding of manufacturing costing.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of financial and operational data.
