As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance function, strengthen financial governance, and support strategic business decisions.

Role Summary

As the Finance Controller, you will act as a strategic finance partner to the finance partner and leadership team, overseeing the company's financial health, planning, reporting, compliance, and operational controls.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic financial planning with end-to-end finance operations. You will own the financial lifecycle of the business, from budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to client billing, revenue recognition, profitability analysis, and statutory compliance

You will build and strengthen scalable financial systems, establish robust internal controls, and provide actionable insights to support sustainable growth, improve margins, and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting while monitoring profitability, analysing performance, and identifying cost optimization opportunities and preempting risks to support leadership decisions.

- Oversee accounting, client billing, invoicing, reconciliations, collections, revenue recognition, and profitability tracking while coordinating with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure zero revenue leakage 

- Oversee media spend and vendor invoice reconciliations, track advertising budgets and liabilities, and ensure proper financial controls, documentation, and approvals.

- Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, banking, and payment cycles while improving collections and addressing potential cash flow gaps.

- Ensure statutory compliance, timely tax filings, audit management, accurate financial records, and effective internal controls in coordination with auditors and tax consultants.

- Lead the finance team, streamline SOPs, automate reporting, and enhance financial systems to support scalable and efficient business growth.

Core Requirements

• Qualification: senior finance leadership experience in a growth oriented organisation

• Experience: 10+ years in finance, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

• Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and profitability analysis.

• Sound knowledge of accounting, client billing, revenue recognition, vendor management, and working capital.

• Keen eye for cost optimisation and zero tolerance towards revenue leakage.

• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, statutory compliance, and audits.

• Experience in digital marketing, advertising, media, or technology is preferred.

• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
