Field Service Engineer responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Agilent GCMS and multi-vendor analytical systems at customer locations. Diagnoses equipment issues, optimizes configurations, and ensures customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance guidance and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimize GCMS hardware, software, and networking products at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve GCMS system performance issues and equipment problems
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair services for analytical instruments
• Advise customers on maintenance practices and system configurations to optimize performance
• Collaborate with internal teams and manage technical escalations for customer solutions

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Instrumentation, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Life Science
• 5+ years relevant experience in analytical instrumentation or field service
• Knowledge of GCMS analytical instruments and basic theoretical principles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with technical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel 100% and meet customer credentialing requirements
