About the job

Key Responsibilities:

A. Sales and Revenue
1. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for ultrasound machines (B/W, colour Doppler, portable/POCUS, 3D/4D).
2. Generate new business and also upsell probes, upgrades, and accessories.
3. Close deals through demos, quotations, negotiation, and follow-up.

B. Territory and Market Development
1. Map and cover the full Kaithal territory: private hospitals, nursing homes, radiologists, gynaecologists, physicians, orthopaedic and sports clinics, CHCs/PHCs, and government tenders.
2. Identify new clinics, newly qualified doctors, and upgrade or replacement opportunities.
3. Maintain a visit plan and daily call/visit targets.

C. Customer Relationship Management
1. Build strong relationships with doctors, radiologists, hospital owners, and purchase decision-makers.
2. Visit existing customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals.
3. Handle queries and escalate technical issues to the service team promptly.

D. Product Demonstration and Technical Support
1. Conduct product demos at customer sites with application specialists.
2. Explain features, image quality, clinical applications, and comparisons with competitors.
3. Coordinate installation, training, and handover.

E. Pipeline and Quotation Management
1. Maintain a lead tracker (CRM/Excel) with stages: lead, demo, quotation, negotiation, closure.
2. Prepare and submit accurate quotations and commercial proposals.
3. Follow up on payments, financing, and leasing options.

F. Competitor and Market Intelligence
1. Track competitor brands, pricing, schemes, and new launches in the region.
2. Report market trends, customer feedback, and pricing pressure to management.

G. Regulatory and Compliance Awareness
1. Ensure sales practices follow the PC-PNDT Act (registration of ultrasound machines, mandatory for sale and installation in India) and company policy.
2. Verify that buyers have proper PNDT registration or documentation before dispatch.
3. Maintain ethical selling practices.

H. Reporting
1. Submit daily call reports, weekly summaries, and monthly sales reviews.
2. Participate in review meetings and sales training.

I. Events and Promotions
1. Participate in medical camps, CMEs, IMA meetings, and exhibitions.
2. Share brochures, product literature, and scheme details.
