Job Description: Executive, E-commerce Supply Chain (Outright)
Company : Purplle House of Brands
Function : E-commerce, Supply Chain Executive
Reports to Operations Lead
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 3-5 years in e-commerce or quick-commerce supply chain (outright/PO-based model)

Role Summary
You will own the end-to-end outright supply chain for our brand portfolio across e-commerce and
quick-commerce platforms, from PO receipt to delivery, GRN, returns and payment reconciliation.
You will work closely with Key Account Managers, the warehouse, finance and platform supply
teams to keep fill rates high, turnaround times short and disputes low.

Key Responsibilities
1. PO and order management
• Receive, validate and process POs from platforms across cities and fulfilment centres.
• Check POs against pricing, MRP, catalogue and inventory before acceptance.
• Raise sales orders, invoices and e-way bills in SAP accurately and on time.
2. Dispatch and delivery
• Book appointments and coordinate dispatches with the warehouse and logistics partners.
• Track shipments to delivery and ensure PO validity is not breached.
• Escalate delays, rejections and stuck consignments proactively.
3. Fill rate and availability
• Monitor PO fill rate, OTIF and stock availability by platform and city.
• Work with KAMs and planning on stock replenishment, short supply and stock-outs.
• Flag slow-moving and near-expiry inventory early.
4. GRN, returns and disputes
• Track GRN status and resolve mismatches, short receipts and rejections.
• Manage RTV, damage and expiry claims, and see them through to credit notes.
• Maintain a clean dispute log with evidence (POD, ASN, invoices).
5. Reconciliation and finance coordination
• Reconcile invoices, GRNs, credit notes and payments with platforms and the finance team.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support month-end closing.

6. Reporting and analysis
• Build and share daily and weekly MIS: PO status, fill rate, OTIF, pending GRNs, claims and
aging.
• Analyse trends and root causes, and present findings clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
7. Process and stakeholder management
• Be the single point of contact for platform supply chain, warehouse, finance and internal
sales teams.
• Document SOPs and drive process improvements and automation.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce, Supply Chain, Business or similar
preferred).
Experience: 3-5 years in e-commerce, quick-commerce or FMCG/D2C supply chain, with hands-on
exposure to platform POs, appointments and GRN.
Must-have skills
• Advanced MS Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas and data cleaning.
• Working knowledge of SAP (invoicing, sales orders, stock and reports).
• Data presentation: clear dashboards, MIS and PowerPoint summaries.
• Stakeholder management: confident dealing with platform teams, warehouses and finance.
• Good spoken and written English.
Additional Skills and Good to Have
Recommended skills
• Knowledge of platform vendor portals (Nykaa, Myntra, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Flipkart,
Amazon).
• Understanding of GST, e-way bills, invoicing and credit-note flows.
• Strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail, since small PO or invoice errors become
payment disputes.
• Ability to work under tight dispatch and appointment timelines.
• Basic Power BI/Looker or Google Sheets automation (good to have).

Good to have
• Experience in beauty, personal care or FMCG.
• Exposure to quick-commerce city-level PO handling.

What Success Looks Like (First 6-12 Months)
• Fill rate and OTIF at or above agreed targets.
• Faster PO-to-dispatch turnaround.
• Fewer GRN mismatches and aged claims.
• Timely, accurate daily and weekly reporting.
