General RequirementsMinimum 5 years of professional kitchen experiencePrevious experience as a Head Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef or Chef de CuisineExperience in a hotel, resort, boutique property or quality restaurantStrong knowledge of Indian, Goan and international cuisineGood understanding of food costing, menu planning, purchasing and inventory controlProven ability to lead, train and manage a kitchen teamStrong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standardsAbility to work independently and handle a hands-on kitchen environmentGood communication and team-management skillsCreative approach to menu development and presentationPre-opening experience is an advantageBakery/pastry experience is an advantageCandidates who are currently based in Goa or willing to relocate are welcomeAvailability to join at short notice is preferredMust be comfortable working in a seasonal beach resort environmentMost importantly: we're looking for a chef who takes ownership, is reliable, and genuinely enjoys creating good food and delivering a great guest experience.
