About the job

Work side by side with the founder of a music school and keep his day running.

Jason Zac founded Nathaniel School of Music in 2008. He still teaches, records, makes our YouTube lessons, and builds our music apps, so his day moves fast. We're looking for an executive assistant who stays one step ahead of him: someone who keeps his calendar, follows up on everything, and speaks for the school on the phone and on WhatsApp with warmth and confidence. This is a personal assistant role at a real school. You'll speak with students and parents in India and abroad every day. Our working language is English, so your spoken and written English must be excellent.

What your week will look like:

1. Plan the director's day: calendar, classes, meetings, and reminders, so nothing is missed
2. Go through his email and WhatsApp, answer what you can, and bring him only the decisions
3. Turn his voice notes into clear emails, letters, notices, and messages
4. Speak with students, parents and teachers on his behalf, by phone and WhatsApp, and follow up until each matter is closed
5. Track fee payments, attendance and pending work, and send him a short report every Saturday
6. Coordinate with vendors, photographers, venues and colleges
7. Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude and others) every day to draft, summarise and organise, while every message still sounds like a person

You'll also help with:

1. Public classes, workshops and school events
2. Our learning portal and music apps: testing them and helping students use them
3. Our YouTube channel and Instagram, alongside the team

Who will do well here:

1. Organised, calm and discreet; you can be trusted with private matters
2. Quick with new software, and comfortable with Google Sheets, email and AI tools
3. You notice what is left undone and finish it without being asked

About us: You'll work from our studio in Langford Town, Shanti Nagar, Bengaluru, Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. This is an in-person role; there's no work from home.
