About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for modular kitchens, cabinetry, wardrobes and other interior joinery projects.
2. Read and interpret architectural plans, kitchen layouts and technical drawings.
3. Calculate material quantities, labour costs, hardware requirements and installation expenses.
4. Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost sheets and pricing reports using MS Excel.
5. Coordinate with design, sales and procurement teams to finalise project requirements and pricing.
6. Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure cost-effective material procurement.
7. Review project specifications and drawings to identify cost-saving opportunities and avoid estimation errors.
8. Assist in preparing revised quotations based on design changes and client requirements.

Other requirements

1. Candidates with a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in estimation, preferably in modular kitchens, kitchen cabinetry, joinery or interior fit-out projects.

3. Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.

4. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, material costing, and quantity estimation.

5. Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

6. Good communication and coordination skills.

7. Candidates who can work independently and meet project deadlines.
