Amgen seeks an Engineering Project Controls Cost Management professional to deliver cost management services across global capital projects from the India capability center. The role focuses on cost reporting, forecasting, compliance, and continuous improvement within the Project Controls organization.
Responsibilities
Support cost management for global capital projects including reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and closeout activities
Review engineering estimates, contractor bids, scopes of work, and change orders to inform project decisions
Prepare cost analytics, dashboards, and reports to provide portfolio visibility across global projects
Partner with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and global teams to improve cost visibility and predictability
Ensure standardization, compliance, and audit readiness across cost management workflows and documentation
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or related field
8–13 years of experience in project controls, cost management, capital projects, or related discipline
Deep expertise with SAP-enabled cost management, project controls, and finance processes
Experience with cost forecasting, variance analysis, commitments, actuals, and accruals
Proficiency using AI tools, data analytics, and reporting for decision-making
Strong understanding of process compliance, audit readiness, and internal controls
Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry experience preferred
