Develop and implement Quality Control procedures, work instructions, and processes to ensure compliance with aerospace and defence standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Supplier Quality, etc.) to identify, analyse, and resolve quality issues.
Conduct regular in-process and final inspections, internal audits, and process audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements.
Analyse production and quality data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
Drive root cause analysis and CAPA implementation for non-conformities.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
Support customer audits, certifications, and compliance activities.
Ensure documentation accuracy as per aerospace & defence standards (AS9100, NADCAP requirements wherever applicable).e

Authority to stop production in case of major quality non-conformities.
Authority to escalate quality issues to Management / HOD for immediate action.

Qualification:
* BE/Diploma/B. Tech or any relevant field
Experience:
* 5–10 years
Technical Competencies:
Strong knowledge of quality processes, inspection methods, and quality documentation.
Understanding of aerospace & defence industry standards (AS9100, customer-specific requirements).
Hands-on experience with root cause analysis tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, FMEA, etc.).
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings & GD&T.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of QMS tools & audits (Internal, Process, Product audits).
AS9100 QMS and Documentation awareness.
