The DSOM product line includes BMC's industry-leading Digital Services and Operation Management products. We have many interesting SaaS products, in the fields of: Predictive IT service management, Automatic discovery of inventories, intelligent operations management, and more! Participates in module design with focus paid to the production of high quality, portable, maintainable and BMC standards compliant software; A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrate creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for a successful project delivery.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Critiques the initial problem analysis and ensures that all documentation necessary for problem resolution is available in a timely manner.
Reviews and monitors the problem status data to ensure sufficient back up for the support team.
8+ years of experience
Experience with object-oriented development, experience writing commercial-grade software applications.
Core & Advanced Java (Threading, Design Patterns, Data Structures) J2EE, REST web services
Good DB concept with experience in MS-SQL 2005, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB.
JBOSS, Tomcat Application Server
Windows, UNIX (LINUX, ubuntu) Operating Systems
Spring boot framework
Kubernetes deployment
PostgreSQL, Kafka , Elasticsearch , VictoriaMetrics
Cloud technologies (AWS, OCI, GCP, Azure)
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplines preferred
Good written and oral communication skills in English.
Experience working in an agile development environment and tools is required
