Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure software deployment pipelines on AWS cloud infrastructure. The role combines infrastructure automation, cloud security, and CI/CD optimization to support life-science research and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices
• Build and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Helm, and related tools
• Implement security automation including SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanning in deployment workflows
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and services to enhance automation and security posture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment tools
• Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Strong proficiency in AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, Aurora, IoT Core, and Greengrass
• Demonstrated experience integrating security automation and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD workflows
• Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster setup and management, preferably EKS
• Advanced knowledge of cloud security including IAM, VPCs, encryption, and compliance frameworks
