Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer III to lead PCBA design and risk mitigation for innovative medical and scientific instruments. The role involves managing electronics projects from concept through manufacturing, collaborating across teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Drive PCBA risk mitigation strategy and execute electronics design projects
• Design digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics schematics meeting specifications
• Develop design documentation including schematics, DFMEA, and verification plans
• Conduct design analysis, simulations, and testing to verify performance requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on component selection and design trade-offs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Over 10 years of proven electrical/electronics engineering experience
• Proficiency with circuit design and simulation tools
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and design principles
• Experience with medium to high complexity electronics projects
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards
