Baxter seeks a Verification & Validation Engineer II in Bangalore to independently execute verification and validation testing on medical devices, from components to full systems. The role includes authoring test plans, performing qualification protocols, managing external test labs, and supporting regulatory compliance and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Author, execute, and report verification and validation test activities for device components and full systems
• Develop test plans, procedures, and qualification protocols; support regulatory closure and design output deliverables
• Coordinate with external test labs for EMI/EMC and other specialized testing; define scope and consolidate reports
• Investigate problem reports, diagnose issues, and drive product improvements and bug fixes
• Participate in continuous improvement and test automation initiatives; maintain compliance with quality and manufacturing practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering
• 3–7 years of verification and validation testing experience across software, hardware, and systems
• Expertise in writing V&V plans, procedures, test execution, and report generation at multiple levels
• Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and IEC design control procedures and medical device regulations
• Experience with electro-mechanical, electrical, and software testing methodologies and environments
• Familiarity with reliability theory, design methodologies, risk management, and quality systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects, strong interpersonal skills, and self-motivation
