Areas of Responsibilities
1 Electrical Network Design & Implementation – Pre Design
Objectives
Conduct feasibility studies for power evacuation with a focus on optimal PSS design and integration.
Prepare BOQ and detailed technical specifications specifically for Power Substations (PSS) , along with 33 KV and EHV systems.
Finalize survey and layout for 33 KV and EHV lines, ensuring alignment with PSS location, minimizing losses, and optimizing cost.
Collaborate with HO and procurement teams to prepare work order specifications that prioritize timely grid connectivity through robust PSS planning.
Lead planning, execution, and commissioning of PSS infrastructure , including switchgear, transformers, SCADA systems, and associated grid components.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, WTG manufacturers, and government agencies to ensure smooth execution of PSS and related electrical works.
Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and GTPs for PSS , EHV lines, 33 KV lines, USS, and SCADA systems.
Oversee commissioning and HOTO of all electrical systems, with special attention to PSS readiness and compliance.
