Electrical Design Engineer

The company provides detailed design, BIM implementation, virtual design and construction (VDC), and software development services, with operations and projects across North America, Europe, the UK, the Middle East, India, and Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Independently design complex projects, applying professional knowledge and sound judgment.
- Develop electrical designs for distribution panels, lighting systems, cable management, and indoor and outdoor lighting.
- Perform lux-level, load, voltage-drop, and short-circuit calculations.
- Design ELV systems, including fire alarms, PAVA, CCTV, and SCS.
- Use software tools such as Dialux and Amtech.
- Apply knowledge of NEC, CPWD, and international codes and practices.
- Prepare estimates for RFPs.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical and project-management requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Mentor and guide mechanical engineering staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- At least 10 years of experience in consultant design and management of complex building-services MEP design and BIM projects, such as high-rise buildings, commercial and residential properties, and infrastructure.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Ability to manage project team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with international clients and contractors.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks is an advantage.
