Key Responsibilities

• Safety Audits: Inspect work sites, check personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and find unsafe acts or conditions.

• Regulatory Compliance: Track and follow local and national environmental, health, and safety laws.

• Training & Induction: Lead daily toolbox talks, safety orientations for new hires, and regular emergency drills.

• Incident Investigation: Review accidents, injuries, and near-miss reports to find root causes and stop them from happening again.

• Record Keeping: Maintain logs for safety meetings, waste disposal, permits, and statutory audits.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health, or safety management.

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial operations.

• Certifications: Preferred credentials include NEBOSH, OSHA, or internal auditor training for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

• Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of emergency response planning
