About the Opportunity
- Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Draftsman / CAD Engineer to prepare detailed fabrication drawings, shop drawings, nesting drawings, and manufacturing documentation to support production and project execution activities. The role requires strong drafting accuracy, coordination with production teams, and effective revision control management.

Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings.
- Generate CNC bending and laser cutting nesting drawings as per production requirements.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings and shop drawings.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain proper revision control and document management.
- Coordinate with the production department for manufacturing feasibility and drawing clarifications.
- Support Design and Engineering teams in BOM preparation.
- Modify and update drawings based on production feedback and project changes.
- Ensure timely release of drawings to support production schedules.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in fabrication drafting, CAD engineering, or manufacturing drawing preparation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Knowledge of fabrication and shop drawing preparation.
- Understanding of CNC bending and laser cutting nesting drawing processes.
- Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Experience with BOM support and documentation.
- Experience with revision control and drawing management.
- Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (Preferred).
- Strong technical drafting skills.
- Good understanding of fabrication processes.
- Ability to work under tight timelines.
- Team-oriented and proactive approach.
- Detail-focused with strong organizational skills.
