Director role overseeing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementation and delivery for a global diagnostics company. Responsible for executing enterprise web platform enhancements, leading technical teams across India and US locations, and translating product requirements into technical solutions aligned with global governance standards.
Responsibilities
Implement and enhance AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations per approved designs and enterprise standards
Translate product roadmap and experience requirements into technical implementation plans and delivery sequencing
Collaborate with U.S.-based teams to assess website capabilities and propose implementation approaches with feasibility assessments
Supervise day-to-day work of AEM, front-end, and integration engineers; coordinate implementation across QA, CI/CD, and partner teams
Coordinate release readiness, production validation, incident response, and root-cause resolution across India and US time zones
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
10+ years software engineering experience with 7+ years delivering enterprise AEM solutions
3+ years supervising or coordinating technical teams or complex platform programs
Deep AEM 6.x or AEM Cloud Service expertise including Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL, Core Components, and DAM
Adobe Experience Manager certification or comparable advanced AEM expertise
Experience with Adobe Target, Analytics, Experience Platform, and enterprise DAM capabilities
Demonstrated experience with vendor transitions, platform migrations, or major knowledge-transfer programs
