Pfizer seeks a Director to lead Analytics Gateway's ~20-person teams focused on data engineering, business intelligence, and AI-enabled analytics solutions supporting the International Commercial Division. The role combines technical leadership in designing and scaling AI/agentic solutions with people management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic architecture oversight.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage ~20 colleagues across AI Engineering, Data Engineering, and BI/Data Visualization teams
Own design, build, deployment, and scaling of AI-enabled and agentic solutions from proof-of-concept to production
Establish MLOps/LLMOps practices including model versioning, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and lifecycle management
Architect end-to-end analytics solutions, curating commercial data and applying data engineering and AI techniques
Guide team capability evolution toward AI engineering and modern data engineering with infrastructure standardization and mentorship
Requirements
15–20 years in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence
8+ years people-management experience leading managers
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related field
Demonstrated success designing and delivering AI-enabled analytics solutions at scale
Technical breadth in ETL, data architecture, BI tools, cloud platforms, and MLOps/LLMOps
Experience with Snowflake Cortex Agents or similar agentic AI platforms
Strong stakeholder influence and coaching ability for high-performing teams
