Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Linux system administration, software development, CI/CD automation, containerization, networking, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining scalable and reliable systems while driving automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable software systems using established software engineering methodologies and open-source practices.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, and build processes.
• Design and support service-oriented architecture (SOA) and distributed system components.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Manage containerized application deployments using Docker.
• Develop and maintain software components and automation scripts using C, C++, Java, Go, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, communication protocols, load balancing, routing, caching, and scalability issues.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, improve operational efficiency, and deliver reliable solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
• Azure Cloud: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Linux Administration: Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Containerization: Good understanding of Docker and container deployment technologies.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python and/or Shell scripting for automation and system administration.
• CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment, and automated testing.
• Monitoring and Observability: Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch for monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.
• Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, load balancing, routing, caching, and scalability.
• Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA): Understanding of SOA principles, architectural patterns, and distributed systems.
Good to Have
• Programming Languages: Knowledge of C, C++, or Java for software development and troubleshooting.
• Azure DevOps: Familiarity with Azure DevOps services, repositories, pipelines, and release management.
• Container Orchestration: Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.
• Configuration Management: Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management best practices.
• Open-Source Practices: Familiarity with open-source development methodologies, collaboration workflows, and code review practices.
• Advanced Monitoring: Experience with Kibana and log analysis, dashboard creation, alerting, and system performance optimization.
