Job description:

  • Prepare detailed fabrication, shop, and erection drawings for steel structures such as gantries, bridges, formwork, and custom fabrication works.

  • Develop drawings based on approved GA drawings, design inputs, and client specifications .

  • Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, cutting lists, and BOM for workshop execution.

  • Coordinate closely with design engineers, project team, and Siliguri workshop production team to ensure drawing accuracy and feasibility.

  • Revise drawings as per client comments, site inputs, and internal review feedback .

  • Ensure drawings comply with IS standards, quality norms, and NPEC project requirements .

  • Support fabrication and machining teams by resolving drawing-related technical issues .

  • Maintain proper drawing control, revision history, and documentation .

  • Assist in preparation of as-built drawings after project completion.

  • Use detailing software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or equivalent .

  • Ensure timely submission of drawings to avoid delays in fabrication and dispatch
