About the job

Key responsibilities:
1)Design & Drafting
Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using UG NX.
Perform detailing, dimensioning, tolerance application, and BOM preparation.
Revise and update designs based on engineering feedback and design changes.
2)Product Documentation
Prepare and maintain complete Technical Product Documentation (TPD).
Ensure adherence to drafting standards, version control, and documentation accuracy.
3)Project & Engineering Support
Support the engineering team in design validation, feasibility checks, and design improvements.
Participate in technical meetings, reviews, and cross-functional discussions.
Assist in developing engineering reports, layouts, and presentations.
4)Manufacturing & Supplier Support
Understand manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, casting, etc.).
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams for clarifications, changes, and design feasibility.
Provide design support for cost optimization and manufacturability enhancement.
5)Continuous Improvement
Lead or contribute to internal improvement projects.
Recommend design modifications to enhance performance, quality, and efficiency.
