Qualifications : BE, BTech, MCA, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with 6 to 12+ years of https://jobeax.com/link/98SwTxlVlLi9SjFj Skills : - Install, configure, and maintain DB2 database systems (z/OS).- Manage database infrastructure including instances, partitions, and clusters.- Design and implement high availability solutions (HADR, clustering, replication).- Perform database upgrades, fix packs, and patch management.- Monitor system performance and tune database/OS resources for optimal performance.- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.- Troubleshoot complex database/system-level issues and perform root cause analysis.- Optimize memory, CPU, I/O, and storage configurations.- Work closely with infrastructure teams for capacity planning and hardware sizing.- Automate system-level DBA activities using scripting (Shell, Python, Perl).Role & Responsibilities : - Analyzing Database State (both Space and Performance wise).- DB2 utility (Load, Unload, Image copy, Reorg etc.).- Analyzing tablespaces for space and Performance.- Writing queries.- Database Refresh from one system to another.- Ensure security compliance including authentication, authorization, and auditing.- Support production environments with 24/7 availability (on-call as needed).- Maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
