Amgen seeks a Senior Associate Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine learning and statistical methods for value and access analytics in the pharmaceutical market. The role involves optimizing proprietary AI engines, managing model deployment, and collaborating with global teams on analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage upgrades and deployment of proprietary AI engine optimizing copay initiatives
• Ensure models are trained with current data and meet service level agreements
• Develop and integrate dashboards, workflows, and applications incorporating AI capabilities
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with cross-functional teams
• Perform exploratory data analyses and implement machine learning and prescriptive analytics solutions

Requirements

• Master's in computer science, statistics, or STEM with 3+ years IS experience, or Bachelor's with 5+ years
• Proficiency in R and/or Python for analytics
• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques
• Knowledge of US pharmaceutical ecosystem, patient support services, and claims data
• Experience with hypothesis testing, regression analysis, clustering, and classification methods
• MLOps practices and tools experience preferred
