Danaher seeks a Staff Data Platform Governance and Compliance Lead to establish and operate enterprise data governance frameworks across cloud platforms. The role ensures data assets meet regulatory requirements including SOX, SOC, GxP, and global privacy laws while partnering with engineering, security, and audit teams.
Responsibilities
Operationalize data governance frameworks including classification, ownership, lineage, RBAC, masking, and access policies across platforms
Lead audit readiness and compliance evidence collection for SOX, SOC, GxP, and access reviews across environments
Establish data quality standards, SLAs, validation rules, and data product onboarding frameworks
Partner with privacy, legal, and security teams to operationalize global regulatory requirements and data protection obligations
Build and lead a governance pod, developing playbooks, procedures, and repeatable processes for enterprise-wide adoption
Requirements
6+ years progressive experience in data governance, compliance, IT audit, or information risk management
3+ years hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms or cloud data environments
Knowledge of Snowflake, Matillion, dbt, and Azure governance and compliance capabilities
Demonstrated experience supporting SOX, SOC 1/2, or GxP audits with control design and remediation
Working knowledge of GDPR, India DPDP Act, and HIPAA or CCPA
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Law, or related discipline
