A Data Engineer for Smart Operations (Global) is responsible to lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level data architecture and engineering solutions that enable scalable, secure, and efficient data access across Linde's global operations. By building robust data platforms and pipelines, the role directly supports the development and deployment of AI products, driving innovation, automation, and business value across diverse functions and geographies.

You will design and lead scalable data architectures to support structured, semi-structured, time-series, and unstructured data across Linde's global operations
Develop unified data platforms ensuring secure, governed, and efficient access to enterprise-wide data
Build and manage robust data pipelines integrating sources like ERP systems, IoT devices, iHistorian, web services, and external APIs
Leverage modern data engineering stacks (Python, SQL, Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks, Azure) to enable large-scale, high-performance processing
Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to deliver impactful, business-aligned data solutions across functional domains
Also continuously improve systems by implementing innovations in scalability, maintainability, and performance using the latest data technologies is part of your role
You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related Engineering areas with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing settings to develop data-engineering solutions, tools and software applications
