Data Entry Assistant - Immediate Start (Working from home) in India, India is listed on Jobeax. Browse 30,000+ vacancies available.
Job Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable full-time Data Entry Specialist to join their Accounting department. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining complete, accurate order information across Asana, QuickBooks, and internal job schedule spreadsheets. Working closely under the Controller, you will verify sales documents, maintain strict data consistency across all platforms, and resolve discrepancies to ensure smooth order processing and timely internal communications.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Mountain Time, with a 1-hour unpaid break; Full-time, 35 hours per week
Enter all customer, sales order, invoice, pricing, and payment information accurately into Asana, QuickBooks, and job schedule spreadsheets.
Review sales orders, payment details, product specifications, and shipping information prior to entry to ensure total accuracy.
Maintain data consistency and perform regular updates across all tracking, scheduling, and accounting software platforms.
Identify missing, incomplete, or conflicting order data and coordinate cross-functionally with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain organized digital records while safeguarding confidential customer, payment, and financial information.
Support the Controller and Accounting team with data reviews, record corrections, reporting, and general administrative duties as needed.
Previous experience in data entry, order processing, administrative support, or accounting support roles.
Strong proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and business software
Experience with Asana and QuickBooks is highly preferred.
Close attention to detail and proven accuracy when inputting alphanumeric data, dates, pricing, and complex order details.
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
