Data Visualization Engineer

100% Remote

Two year contract

Shift 10 AM IST to 6 IST,

Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI.

Develop efficient SQL queries and data models in Snowflake for analytics and visualization.

Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and visualization best practices.

Work closely with data engineering to ensure smooth data integration and pipeline readiness.

Troubleshoot issues related to data, performance, or visualization logic.

Overall 5+ years of experience in data visualization.

Tableau: Advanced dashboard design, calculated fields, LOD expressions, data blending, and performance tuning.

Power BI: DAX, Power Query (M), data modelling, and row-level security.

SQL (Snowflake preferred): Strong query optimization, CTEs, window functions, and data transformation.

Data Modelling & ETL Understanding: Star/Snowflake schemas, joins, incremental refresh logic.

Ability to interpret data trends, KPIs, and business metrics.

Collaboration Tools: Experience with Git, Jira, or similar for versioning and delivery tracking.

• Project is already going on
• Apart of Shishir's team, Data analytics CoE head. Someone that can help with the reporting needs, need resource who can support here. Require more data visualization, know data engineering as well.

• Need to create data for powerBI and tableua, done in SQL
• BCG Data Lake is entirely snowflake
• Write SQL queries in snowflake
• Want to stay with mid-level, 5-7 years of experience. Okay with a little more Sr, 7-10 but pref is mid-level.
• 2 year long project, resource for RTB
• Location: mainly remote but Gurugram would be huge plus. Open to fully remote in India but if they were to convert would need to be local
• Working hours are flexible, not mandatory working hours, won't have meetings late at night
• PRP after 3 months, happen during the evening times
• Stakeholder facing, wide user base so flexible meeting times. Power BI: DAX, LOD functions within Tableau, Storytelling concepts- how to tell a story within dashboards/reporting, SQL strong
• Immediate joiners, start last week of November preference.
