A leading Mumbai-based agency looking for a Creative Director dedicated to their retainer client - one of the largest alcobev companies in the world. This role is based out of the client's office in Gurgaon. 

Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary Creative Director – Social Media to lead our creative strategy and execution across platforms.

This role requires a deep understanding of digital storytelling, platform-native content, cultural trends, and audience engagement. You’ll be responsible for shaping the creative direction for brands, ensuring our social media presence is innovative, compelling, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Strategy & Vision

• Define and drive the creative vision for social media content across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Discord etc.).
• Develop platform-first content strategies that balance brand storytelling with audience engagement.
• Collaborate with strategy and brand teams to craft high-impact creative campaigns.
• Ensure content aligns with brand voice, tone, and visual identity while pushing creative boundaries.

2. Content & Execution

• Build and oversee concept development, scripting, and production for social media campaigns.
• Lead a team of writers to create high-quality, engaging content.
• Work closely and in collaboration with client servicing, media, design and strategy teams to ensure creative solutions are insight-driven and performance-oriented.
• Collaborate with influencer marketing teams to develop co-branded content strategies.
• Maintain a strong pulse on trends, formats, and platform algorithms to inform content innovation.
• Partner with external creators, agencies, and production teams to bring campaigns to life.

3. Leadership & Hiring

• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary creative team, fostering a culture of experimentation and excellence.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard top creative talent to strengthen the team’s capabilities.

4. Performance & Optimization

• Analyze content performance metrics and audience insights to refine creative approaches.
• Experiment with emerging formats, AI tools, and interactive content to drive engagement.
• Optimize creative workflows to improve efficiency and output quality.

5. Work Across Teams

• Partner closely with the Gurgaon brand team and the rest of the Mumbai agency team to ensure creative alignment across all campaigns.
• Drive creative thought leadership with both client and internal teams.
• Work with the media & analytics team to define social KPIs, and ensure the creative process — through production and post-campaign — stays accountable to them.
