About the job

As a content writer at VARAE, you'll shape clear, engaging written content for a range of needs, bringing strong English writing and creative thinking to each assignment. You'll work with colleagues to understand the purpose and audience of each piece and deliver polished drafts on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Write and edit blog posts, developing useful topics into well-structured articles with a consistent, readable voice.
2. Turn briefs and background materials into original copy, checking details and clarifying gaps with the relevant team members.
3. Adapt tone, structure, and language to suit each audience and content format while keeping the message clear.
4. Proofread drafts for grammar, spelling, flow, and consistency, incorporating feedback thoughtfully.
5. Contribute story ideas and fresh angles in planning discussions, using creative writing skills to make content engaging and specific.
6. Coordinate with colleagues to confirm priorities, deadlines, and details, and communicate progress clearly in spoken and written English.
7. Review published content for opportunities to refresh wording, improve clarity, or better meet its intended purpose.
