About the job

Our videos cross millions of views, and you can be at the centre of it. Scripting is the soul of any video, and we're looking for an experienced content writer to work from the founder's office and learn the art of going viral on YouTube, while contributing to already-successful channels and our clients' channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Write scripts across a range of YouTube niches, some punchy and conversational, some documentary-style. You'll adapt your tone to fit each one.
2. Take a topic and run with it researching deeply and shaping it into a script that holds a viewer from start to finish.
3. Work closely with our founder, take full ownership of your scripts over time, and contribute to content that reaches real audiences.

Smart writers from journalism, blogging, or content backgrounds are welcome to apply.

What you get:

1. A front-row seat to how videos cross millions of views, and the skills to make it happen yourself.
2. Real ownership over content that reaches real audiences.
3. A hybrid setup 2 days work from home per week after your first 2 months, and full work-from-home possible from month 3 based on performance.

About The Big Media

The Big Media is a content studio built for one thing: turning raw ideas into YouTube channels and brands that actually grow. We build and scale YouTube channels from scratch - strategy, production, editing, and everything in between, while also partnering with clients who want that same engine working for them. We're not interested in chaos or one-off wins, we're building real infrastructure: a full in-house team, structured processes, and a studio space designed for people who want to do serious creative work and grow with it. If you're an editor, writer, or creative who wants ownership over your craft, this is a place built for that.
