About Us:

1% Club is an education-led fintech platform that helps people make smarter decisions with their money.
Founded by Sharan Hegde and Raghav Gupta, 1% Club was built on a core belief: financial literacy is the first step to financial independence. That belief built India's most trusted personal finance education brand, and has since evolved into a fintech platform with an app that helps users invest, plan, and manage their money in one place, powered by AI.

About the Role

We're looking for a Content Strategist who lives at the intersection of creative and data. You'll own the content engine behind our paid acquisition: ad concepts, hooks, scripts, landing page copy, and creative testing. Your work will be measured by CTR, CPA, conversion rate, and ROAS, not just by how good it looks.

You'll work closely with the performance marketing, design, video, and product teams to turn audience insights into creatives that scale.

What You'll Do

Own creative strategy for paid channels (Meta, Google, YouTube, and others). Build a monthly creative roadmap aligned with acquisition goals and funnel stages.
Write high-converting ad copy and video scripts across formats: static, carousel, UGC-style, short-form video, and search ads.
Run structured creative testing. Design hypotheses around hooks, angles, formats, and CTAs. Analyze results with the performance team and feed the learnings into the next round.
Develop messaging frameworks for different audience segments, personas, and funnel stages (cold, warm, retargeting).
Write and optimize landing pages in collaboration with product and design, including headlines, value propositions, social proof, and CTAs, with A/B testing to improve conversion.
Mine insights from customer reviews, sales and support conversations, community feedback, and competitor ads to find new angles.
Brief and collaborate with designers, video editors, and creators. Write clear creative briefs and give actionable feedback.
Track creative fatigue and keep a steady pipeline of fresh concepts so winning campaigns can scale.
Maintain a creative learning library that documents what works, what doesn't, and why.

What We're Looking For

3–5 years in content, copywriting, or creative strategy, with at least 2 years supporting performance marketing or growth teams
A portfolio of ads, scripts, or landing pages, with the metrics they drove
Strong grasp of direct-response principles: hooks, pain points, offers, objection handling, urgency
Comfort reading ad dashboards (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) and interpreting metrics like CTR, hook rate, hold rate, CPA, CVR, and ROAS
Experience running and learning from creative A/B tests
Excellent writing in English; [Hindi/Hinglish/regional language] is a strong plus
Ability to move fast, ship many iterations, and let data kill ideas you love

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with UGC and creator-led ad production
Basic understanding of attribution, funnels, and conversion tracking
Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, CapCut, Figma, or AI copy and creative tools
Understanding of platform ad policies, especially for regulated categories

How Success Is Measured

Creative win rate: the share of new concepts that beat the control
Improvement in CTR, CPA, and ROAS on campaigns you own
Landing page conversion rate uplift
Volume and velocity of tested creatives per month
Quality of documented learnings that shape future strategy
