Job Summary

Habsons Jobsup Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure the timely, safe, and quality-driven execution of residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in civil construction, particularly in low-rise buildings, luxury villas, kothis, premium residential properties, and customized construction projects.

The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, construction planning, workforce management, quality control, material coordination, contractor management, and progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities at residential and commercial project sites.

• Oversee construction work for low-rise buildings, villas, kothis, premium residential properties, and customized projects.

• Read and interpret construction drawings, architectural layouts, technical specifications, and project plans.

• Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.

• Plan and monitor daily site activities, work schedules, milestones, and project progress.

• Manage contractors, subcontractors, architects, clients, engineers, and site workforce.

• Coordinate manpower, construction materials, machinery, equipment, and other site resources.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards.

• Identify construction defects, execution issues, and potential risks, and implement corrective actions.

• Monitor material consumption, labour productivity, and resource utilization to minimize wastage and control costs.

• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, inspection reports, and construction documentation.

• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve site-related issues and prevent delays.

• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and applicable construction practices.

• Implement process improvements to enhance construction productivity, efficiency, and quality.

• Support project execution within approved budgets, timelines, and technical specifications.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction and site supervision.

• Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects.

• Hands-on experience with low-rise buildings, villas, kothis, and small-scale construction projects.

• Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and construction drawings.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, site execution, and project scheduling.

• Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, site inspection, and construction documentation.

• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, labour teams, and site resources.

• Understanding of material planning, cost control, budget awareness, and resource optimization.

• Experience in site coordination, progress tracking, and construction reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in luxury villas, premium residential projects, and customized construction works.

• Knowledge of advanced construction methods, finishing standards, and site management practices.

• Familiarity with construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and documentation requirements.

• Understanding of cost optimization and productivity improvement techniques.

• Exposure to Lean Construction, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.

• Certification in construction management, QA/QC, or safety management will be an added advantage.

• Strong leadership, team management, communication, and coordination skills.

• Good problem-solving, decision-making, and time management abilities.

Salary

₹3,60,000 – ₹4,80,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability.
