Key Responsibilities:

1. Checking Documents: Looking through HR files, employee records, and company policies to make sure paperwork is complete and correct.
2. Matching Numbers: Using Excel to compare payroll sheets with government filings (like PF and ESI) to find mistakes or missing payments.
3. Following Checklists: Using step-by-step lists to check if the company is following government labor laws and workplace rules.
4. Gathering Evidence: Emailing or talking to managers and outside vendors to collect missing documents or information.
5. Writing Reports: Helping the lead auditor write down what rules were broken or what paperwork is missing so the company can fix it.
6. Learning on the Job: Shadowing senior auditors to understand how to spot risks and keep a company legally safe.
