Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is hiring a Commis II for its kitchen / culinary team in the Maldives. This is a full-time, on-site resort position based in North Malé Atoll. Supports the preparation of ingredients and simple dishes while developing speed and consistency across assigned kitchen tasks.
About This Role
Supports the preparation of ingredients and simple dishes while developing speed and consistency across assigned kitchen tasks. The role supports coordinated service in a premium all-inclusive island resort, with a focus on safety, responsible operations, accuracy and helpful teamwork with colleagues from other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place, wash, cut and portion ingredients accurately.
- Assist senior chefs with cooking, garnishing and timely plate assembly.
- Restock the section ahead of meal periods and report low ingredients.
- Follow hygiene, allergen and temperature-control instructions.
- Clean tools and equipment safely after use and during shift change.
- Learn and apply resort recipes, quality standards and stock rotation practices.
Useful Experience and Skills
- Basic practical exposure to a commercial kitchen or culinary training.
- Readiness to follow standard recipes and food safety guidance.
- Ability to organise preparations and accept coaching.
- Dependable teamwork and a careful approach to cleanliness.
