EY – GDS – Consulting – Finance
As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients in their Business Transition assignments from functional perspective. Additionally, this role demands working knowledge around Performance Improvement, Change management, AI Capability within GBS initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. We’re looking for Manager with expertise in GBS/SSC Setup assignments, GBS assessment benchmark & strategy definition, Process Assessment done for Finance and Accounting, Banking, or Supply Chain domain to join the global EY - Finance Consulting team. Partners with the team to deliver amazing work during the engagement while balancing overall project health.
Provides status communications to project and business teams.
Practice development (support and participate in activities such as internal training & development, recruitment, etc.)
Own and develop our offerings and assets, create accelerators and work on new capabilities
Knowledge of Finance domain and FS sector and preferably a large network in this field
Experience in GBS set up activities such as activity analysis, cost baselining, Location assessment, Business case creation, Target Model design, etc.
Experience / knowledge around finance functions or other sectors like Banking, Insurance, Wealth Asset Management, Supply Chain
This includes experience around Account Reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany and Fixed assets accounting / management
Strong accounting skills and understands financial reports and statements
Should have knowledge of activities in financial close of an organisation for month / Quarter / Annual close periods
Good Knowledge on ledger and sub-ledger systems; technical know-how of SAP ERP / HANA, Oracle GL (good to have)
Good to have experience / exposure (the below skills are an added advantage for candidates):
Translate business requirements to technical language and model (good to have)
Managing / supervising teams of people on project work
Open to travel (Domestic & International)
Open to work in any shift
Consulting experience is a must
Creative solutioning writing skill for Client RFPs and RFIs
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Flexible and adaptable; Understands AI automation and can talk with clients in business language
Commerce Graduates or MBA (Finance)
