About the job

We are a fast-growing global edtech platform teaching bright, curious kids across 15+ countries including the US, UK, and Australia. We handle the heavy lifting (curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching tools) so you can focus entirely on what you do best: teaching brilliantly and making learning fun. As an Online Tutor at Codeyoung, you will conduct engaging 1:1 live online classes for children aged 5-17 from across the world.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct live, 1:1 online classes using Codeyoung's curriculum and teaching methodology.
2. Make every class interactive, engaging, and age-appropriate.
3. Explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching styles based on each child's learning level.
4. Build positive connections with students and create a comfortable learning environment.
5. Encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and think independently.
6. Use activities, examples, questions, and discussions to make concepts easier to understand.
7. Track student progress and share relevant feedback after classes.
8. Follow Codeyoung's lesson plans, teaching processes, and classroom standards consistently.
9. Ensure students leave each class with a better understanding, increased confidence, and greater interest in the subject.
10. Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and high-quality delivery across every session.

Commitment: 5 hours a day | 6 days a week (1 guaranteed off-day per roster)
Shift Options (IST):
- US Shift: 2:30 AM - 7:30 AM IST (Great for night owls!)

Earnings & Compensation
Regular Classes:
US: 300 /hour
Demo Classes: 200 /hour
