We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Security Engineer with deep expertise in Azure, cloud infrastructure security, and cloud-native https://jobeax.com/link/4tHEKzNNbiVhk26b ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and securing enterprise cloud environments while driving infrastructure security, automation, and secure architecture https://jobeax.com/link/TtkK7BHPbancvnFq Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Azure cloud environments and enterprise infrastructure.- Lead cloud security architecture and engineering initiatives, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient systems.- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Terragrunt, embedding security controls into infrastructure provisioning.- Design and implement security measures for Kubernetes, container orchestration platforms, service mesh, and serverless architectures.- Configure and manage Cloudflare security capabilities, including Web Application Firewall (WAF), CDN, DNS, and Zero Trust solutions.- Secure cloud networks, applications, operating systems, and core infrastructure against evolving threats and vulnerabilities.- Conduct security assessments, identify misconfigurations and vulnerabilities, and drive remediation initiatives.- Establish and enforce cloud security standards, architecture patterns, and engineering best practices.- Automate security operations and infrastructure processes using Python and other scripting or programming languages.- Develop and maintain security queries, detections, and investigations using Kusto Query Language (KQL) or similar query languages.- Collaborate with cloud engineering, application development, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate security throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.- Support security incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for cloud and infrastructure-related issues.- Align cloud security practices with relevant standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, and DORA.- Provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering teams and contribute to continuous improvement in cloud security posture.- Support critical security activities outside normal business hours when https://jobeax.com/link/0XodNN5dLVwUz2NN Skills & Experience :- 15 - 20 years of experience in information technology, with at least 15 years of relevant information security experience.- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud security.- Proven experience as a hands-on technical leader in complex, highly technical environments.- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform and/or Terragrunt.- Strong knowledge of container and cloud-native security, including Kubernetes, service mesh, and serverless architectures.- Mandatory hands-on experience with Cloudflare, including WAF, CDN, DNS, and Zero Trust capabilities.- Expert understanding of application, network, operating system, and core infrastructure security concepts.- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably Python.- Experience with KQL or a similar query language for security analysis and investigation.- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making skills.- Ability to work beyond standard business hours when required.
