CI/CD & Release Automation : - Design, develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.- Build reusable pipeline templates, workflows, and deployment frameworks for multiple application teams.- Automate the complete software delivery lifecycle, including code integration, build and packaging, automated testing, security and quality scanning, artifact management, deployment, and release validation.- Implement standardized and reusable CI/CD practices across engineering teams.- Identify and resolve pipeline failures, deployment issues, build problems, and release bottlenecks.- Improve deployment frequency, release reliability, and overall engineering productivity.- Implement automated rollback and recovery mechanisms where required.2. Kubernetes & Containerization : - Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.- Work extensively with Amazon EKS for production-grade Kubernetes deployments.- Manage Kubernetes resources such as Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Namespaces, Jobs/CronJobs, and RBAC.- Troubleshoot application, networking, resource, pod, node, and deployment-related issues.- Support Kubernetes upgrades, configuration changes, scaling, and operational activities.- Implement and support deployment strategies such as rolling, blue-green, and canary deployments.3. AWS Cloud Engineering : - Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and application environments on AWS.- Work with AWS services relevant to application hosting, networking, security, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.- Support AWS-based Kubernetes environments, particularly Amazon EKS.- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, connectivity, performance, availability, and deployment issues.- Follow AWS cloud security, reliability, scalability, and cost-optimization best practices.- Automate repetitive AWS operational and infrastructure activities.4. Infrastructure as Code - Terraform : - Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure.- Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.- Implement standardized, version-controlled infrastructure configurations.- Manage Terraform state, variables, modules, environments, and reusable components.- Integrate Terraform provisioning and validation into CI/CD pipelines.- Perform infrastructure changes through controlled and automated deployment processes.- Ensure infrastructure follows security, reliability, and operational standards.5. GitOps & ArgoCD : - Implement and maintain GitOps-based deployment workflows using ArgoCD.- Manage Kubernetes application configurations through Git-based workflows.- Configure automated synchronization, deployment, and rollback processes.- Troubleshoot ArgoCD synchronization, application health, and deployment issues.- Establish Git as the source of truth for application and environment configurations.- Promote consistent and auditable deployment practices across environments.6. Configuration & Operational Automation : - Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Ansible.- Develop reusable Ansible playbooks and automation workflows.- Automate server configuration, application deployment, operational tasks, and environment setup.- Identify repetitive manual processes and convert them into automated workflows.- Develop operational tooling and scripts using Python and Bash/Shell.7. Monitoring & Observability : - Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Dynatrace, and ELK Stack.- Develop dashboards, alerts, and operational metrics for applications and infrastructure.- Monitor system health, application performance, deployment health, and availability.- Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, traces, and monitoring data.- Support proactive identification and resolution of performance and reliability issues.8. Production Support & Troubleshooting : - Provide technical support for CI/CD, cloud, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and deployment issues.- Investigate production incidents and identify root causes.- Perform troubleshooting across application, infrastructure, networking, container, and deployment layers.- Participate in incident management, problem management, and root-cause analysis.- Implement preventive and corrective actions to reduce recurring incidents.- Support production releases and critical deployment activities when required.9. DevSecOps & Security : - Integrate security practices into CI/CD and cloud-native deployment workflows.- Support automated security, vulnerability, and compliance scanning within pipelines.- Implement secure practices for secrets, credentials, access controls, and infrastructure.- Follow DevSecOps principles throughout the software delivery lifecycle.- Work with Security teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and security issues.10.
