ICON seeks a Clinical System Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of clinical systems supporting trial efficiency and data management. The role involves managing scientific operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a Bangalore or Chennai office-based position.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of clinical systems meeting functional and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and enhance trial management solutions
• Oversee integration of clinical systems with other technologies to ensure seamless operation and data consistency
• Provide strategic guidance on system enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance improvements
• Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships to ensure timely delivery of updates and alignment with research objectives

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of project management and/or system design experience
• Client-facing experience and strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to interpret clinical protocols and understand trial processes
• Experience with Medidata Rave and Veeva systems (preferred)
• Leadership capability with cross-functional team management
• Proficiency in programming languages and system integration tools
