CAD Design of CFRP Components and Modules, including layup definition and optimization
Design for Manufacturability of FRP components in Prepreg-Autoclave, RTM and RIM technology with various fiber types, like carbon fiber, glass fiber etc. and various resin types
Attendance of design meetings to discuss solutions for technical issues
Skills and Experience:
Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable qualification
In-depth knowledge of the material-specific properties and manufacturing processes of fiber-reinforced plastics
Extensive experience designing FRP components in CAD
Good knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX
Proficient knowledge of English, written and spoken, as well as very good knowledge of common MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
