About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage daily centre operations and ensure readiness before every examination.
2. Supervise IT administrators, support staff, security guards, housekeeping teams and vendors.
3. Coordinate with TCS officials, examination teams and observers for scheduled activities and operational requirements.
4. Ensure computers, Windows systems, LAN, network switches, internet connections, CCTV, printers and scanners function properly.
5. Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical systems, UPS, DG sets, air conditioning and other facilities.
6. Conduct readiness checks, maintain issue logs and ensure faults are resolved within deadlines.
7. Maintain security, controlled access, candidate movement, frisking arrangements and examination confidentiality according to applicable SOPs.
8. Prepare for audits, maintain supporting records and photographs, and close audit observations within deadlines.
9. Maintain staff attendance, duty rosters, equipment inventories, spare stock and maintenance records.
10. Submit daily status reports to management, highlighting pending work, breakdowns and matters requiring immediate attention

1. Graduate; BCA, B.Sc. IT, https://jobeax.com/link/2DENLGgQM7whDhaE or a related qualification preferred.

2. Previous experience at a computer-based examination centre or large computer lab will be an advantage.

3. Working knowledge of computer hardware, Windows, networking and IT troubleshooting.

4. Ability to manage staff, coordinate vendors and follow up until work is completed.

5. Comfortable using Excel, email and maintaining operational records.

6. Good communication skills in Hindi and English.

7. Ability to remain calm, make practical decisions and escalate issues promptly during examinations.
