About the job

As a CAM Programmer at Harshaz Studio, you'll turn design files and project specifications into accurate, production-ready toolpaths. You'll work across CAD, CAM, and digital fabrication workflows, helping ensure each program is clear, practical, and ready for the equipment it supports.

1. Review project drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD, CATIA, or Rhino, checking dimensions, geometry, and manufacturing details before programming.
2. Create and refine CAM toolpaths based on part geometry, material specifications, machine capabilities, and fabrication requirements.
3. Prepare files for CNC operations, selecting suitable machining strategies, tools, feeds, and speeds within project parameters.
4. Validate toolpaths through simulation and file checks, identifying potential collisions, errors, or inefficient cutting sequences before release.
5. Coordinate with design and production colleagues to clarify drawings, resolve geometry issues, and communicate programming considerations.
6. Support 3D printing workflows by preparing models for fabrication and checking orientation, build setup, and file readiness.
7. Maintain organized CAD/CAM files and document program revisions so updated designs can be tracked and used reliably.
