About the job

Key Responsibilities:
j1. Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical designs for fine jewelry, including engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, necklaces, and custom pieces.
2. Translate sketches, reference images, and customer requirements into accurate 3D jewelry models and production-ready designs.
3. Develop designs using Rhino, MatrixGold, ZBrush, or similar jewelry CAD software.
4. Ensure accurate stone settings, prong placement, dimensions, proportions, and metal thickness according to production standards.
5. Prepare CAD renders and design previews for customer approvals and internal review.
6. Make revisions based on customer feedback while maintaining the original design intent.
7. Collaborate with the design, production, and sales teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
8. Prepare production-ready CAD files suitable for 3D printing, casting, and jewelry manufacturing.
9. Review CAD models for technical issues, including stone clearance, wall thickness, undercuts, and structural integrity.
10. Create customized designs based on different diamond shapes, sizes, settings, and metal options.
11. Maintain organized CAD files, revisions, and design specifications.
12. Stay updated with current jewelry design trends, CAD techniques, and manufacturing processes.

1. 0-2 years of professional experience in 3D jewelry CAD design.

2. Strong proficiency in Rhino and MatrixGold; ZBrush knowledge is a plus.

3. Experience designing engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewelry.

4. Strong understanding of diamond settings, stone placement, proportions, and jewelry manufacturing.

5. High attention to detail with a strong sense of design, accuracy, and craftsmanship.

6. Ability to create production-ready CAD files and make revisions based on feedback.

7. A strong jewelry CAD portfolio is preferred.
