About the job

Upskillize is an industry-focused upskilling company committed to bridging the gap between college education and corporate expectations. Through AI, FinTech, BFSI, emerging technology programs, practical projects, and career-readiness initiatives, we help students develop industry-relevant skills and prepare for professional opportunities. We are looking for ambitious, self-driven individuals who want to do more than just sell. This is an opportunity to build a territory from the ground up, develop meaningful institutional relationships, and contribute to transforming students' career journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build your market: Identify potential colleges and universities and develop institutional sales opportunities in your assigned territory.
2. Connect & engage: Reach principals, deans, HODs, placement officers, and decision-makers through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings.
3. Present & demonstrate: Conduct presentations and engaging demonstrations of Upskillize programs for college management, faculty, and students.
4. Drive partnerships: Develop proposals, follow up with prospects, negotiate within approved guidelines, and convert opportunities into partnerships.
5. Build relationships: Strengthen long-term relationships with institutions and support student participation in industry-oriented learning programs.
6. Own your growth: Manage your sales pipeline, achieve targets, and contribute to expanding Upskillize's presence in your territory.

What you'll gain - More than just a sales job:

1. Work closely with founders: Gain direct exposure to entrepreneurial thinking, business strategy, and decision-making.
2. Build something from scratch: Take ownership of developing institutional business in your designated territory.
3. Accelerated learning: Gain practical exposure to AI, FinTech, BFSI, emerging technologies, B2B sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
4. Career growth: Opportunities to grow into territory leadership, key account management, and regional business development roles based on performance.
5. Attractive earning potential: Fixed compensation plus performance-linked incentives, with opportunities for higher earnings through strong results.
6. Meaningful impact: Help colleges bridge the education-to-industry gap and support students in building skills, improving career readiness, and accessing placement opportunities.
7. Personal satisfaction: Experience the fulfilment of building partnerships that contribute to students' professional growth.

Who will thrive in this role?

Someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, taking ownership, learning continuously, and creating measurable business impact.
