About the job

As a Business Development Associate, you are the first point of contact for ambitious students and parents. Your role is not "selling," but diagnosing their profile, understanding their dreams, and demonstrating how our technology and expertise can bridge the gap between their current profile and a top-tier global admission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and engage with high-potential students, converting cold interest into warm relationships.
2. Conduct high-level consultations to understand students' academic backgrounds and career goals.
3. Use data and logic to explain the value proposition and demonstrate the benefits of Ambitio's AI-driven approach compared with traditional consultancy.
4. Apply critical thinking to identify student-specific challenges, such as low GRE scores, weak SOPs, or gap years, and offer solutions aligned with Ambitio's offerings.
5. Drive the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to enrollment through persistent follow-ups and effective conversion.

1. Ability to understand the underlying reasons behind students’ needs and reason through complex objections.

2. Confidence and presence to communicate with high-achieving students and parents as a knowledgeable advisor.

3. Strong logical reasoning skills, with the ability to analyze data such as admit rates and rankings and use it to build compelling, logical narratives.

4. High-agency, self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership, find creative solutions, and drive leads forward.

5. B.B.A., B.Com., or M.B.A. degree preferred.

6. Freshers are preferred for this role.

7. Fluent communication skills in English.

8. Ability to work Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 AM to 8 PM.

9. Immediate joiners are preferred.
