Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Business Analyst III for SAP Finance and Controlling solutions in Bangalore. The role involves serving as a functional subject matter expert to bridge business needs with technology solutions, leading projects across the solution lifecycle from requirements gathering through post-go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional subject matter expert for SAP Finance and Controlling processes and modules
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and translate needs into SAP solutions
• Design, configure, and lead functional activities for projects and system enhancements throughout lifecycle
• Support complex production issues through root-cause analysis and cross-functional resolution
• Develop functional specifications, documentation, and coordinate testing and deployment activities

Requirements

• Advanced degree plus 3 years relevant IT/Finance experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years
• 5-8 years of SAP FICO functional experience in implementation, rollout, and enhancement
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Asset Accounting
• Experience with SAP module integration including SD, MM, and PP
• Expertise in functional design, configuration, and SAP best practices
• Proficiency in requirements analysis, solution design, and cross-functional project management
• Knowledge of S/4HANA initiatives and system upgrade processes
